I am in my last mint and ready to toss the container to the garbage can… then I heard a whisper saying, “recycle… reuse… take care of me… It’s me, mother nature”.
Nope I didn’t take any drugs… probably it’s my conscience telling me not to add the 3 cm x 4 cm x 1 cm plastic container to the pile of garbage. I know it’s not much. probably 0.00001 percent compare to the garbage that we accumulated over the years. But I always consider recycling before throwing things out. I am actually a [mild] hoarder of garbages. If I do believe I can still use it, I keep it. That’s my motto.
Well I grow with a mom who always remind us on recycling and protecting our mother nature plus it is taught in school. So I learned the importance of recycling. Plus my creative juices just overflowing in my mind to create something useful out of it.
So after debating on what to do with, I decided to turn the mint container to money container. I simply remove the label, clean the surface, and painted on it. And Voila! A money container!
The transformation of the container is attractive. But surely thief won’t get interested on it. He’s more after to big wallet. So, it’s safer to keep money in it.
